To integrate research in basic medicine and clinical medicine, the Department of Clinical Medical Research was established.
To facilitate clinical research practices, a well-equipped Clinical Research Center was established to conduct studies on diseases of interest, including environmental toxicology, PCBs, vascular diseases, in vitro fertilization, epilepsy, vestibulo-oculomotor, hepatology, cancer, clinical molecular genetics, occupational diseases, and AIDS.
To integrate research in basic medicine and clinical medicine, the Department of Clinical Medical Research was established.
To encourage and promote research, a vast amount of budget is granted for independent and team research incorporating both experienced and young doctors.
The Clinical Research Committee is established to sponsor research proiects.
In-service training is encouraged on the basis of Regulations for Doctors to Attend Domestic Medical Graduate Schools and on the basis of Principles for Further Studies for Administrative Staff.
